Groundwork NRG y el Gobierno Unificado del Condado de Wyandotte y Kansas City, KS están trabajando para crear un sendero patrimonial, el NE KCK Heritage Trail, con el objetivo de integrar mayores opciones de movilidad, mejoras ambientales, e iniciativas que ayuden al desarrollo económico y la conmemoración de la rica historia cultural de NE KCK, a través de un proceso comunitario participativo. El NE KCK Heritage Trail se extenderá desde Kaw Point hasta Quindaro Townsite, conectando lugares locales y significativos a nivel histórico, a través de la integración de caminos y espacios verdes nuevos y existentes. La ruta exacta del sendero aún no se ha determinado; para ello, hemos acordado poner en manos de los residentes de NE KCK el poder de decisión.

Groundwork NRG and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS are working to create a NE KCK Heritage Trail that integrates increased mobility options, environmental improvements, economic development, and the memorialization of NE KCK's rich cultural history through a participatory community process. The NE KCK Heritage Trail will run from Kaw Point to Quindaro Townsite, connecting local historic and significant locations throughout the integration of both new and existing paths and green spaces. The exact route of the Trail is yet to be decided, and we’re determined to put the decision-making power in the hands of NE KCK residents.
