Buying land can seem scary, but it doesn't have to be. In the Northeast, we regularly deal with parcels of land that are vacant or blighted. Often, neighborhood groups and community members are willing to take responsibility for the land around them, but have difficulty navigating the purchasing process.
That's where we can help. On April 10th, Groundwork NRG is proud to present "Before Breaking Ground: Community Land Acquisition 101," a virtual training geared specifically towards the needs of community members and neighborhood groups who want to acquire their own land.
In our view, a successful land purchase means more than just navigating the purchasing process itself. For this reason, the training aims to be a comprehensive introduction and will cover both the purchasing and maintenance aspects of becoming a land owner.
The training will be conducted via Zoom, and will last from 10-11:30am. If you're interested in this important topic, we'd love to have you be part of our training. You can RSVP here.
